This is a natural raspberry-red Rhodolite Garnet in the exact size of 7.15 x 5.13 x 3.65 mm, its shape is oval facet. The gemstone weight is 1.11ct and it was mined in Mozambique. This Rhodolite Garnet comes in VS clarity. "VS" stands for "Very Slightly Included" and is considered eye-clean. After working with and polishing low-grade, rough fire-agate, only to be disappointed, this shop was nirvana. The costs of some gems might seem high, but I have easily spent the same amount rough polishing lousy material only to get a few hints of fire. If you want Fire-agates, BUY the agates you want. These are excellent specimens and are worth considering.

It's important to understand what you are buying. Gem stones all vary significantly and you need to adjust your selection based on purpose, cost, expected out come.In my case I was selecting and very attractive heart shaped stone which once set in a pendent would fall in a specific cost range yet present an attractive picture of luxury without extreme risk e.g loss.
