Nuummite Nuummite is an opaque metamorphic rock with an iridescent play of color. Its chief constituent minerals are gedrite and anthophyllite, along with pyrite, pyrrhotine and chalcopyrite. Nuumite has a hardness of 5.5 to 6 on the Mohs scale.
