International Order Information

GemSelect ships internationally to over 120 countries. Here is more information for our non-US customers.

Transit Time

Shipments by registered mail can take 7-21 days, on average, most are delivered within 10 working days.

Canada

According to the Canada Post website, shipping can take 8-12 weeks. Therefore, we recommend express shipping for all Canadian orders.

Australia

Shipping can take up to 30 days due to customs clearance. We recommend express shipping.

South America

Shipping can take up to 45 days due to lengthy customs procedures.

South Africa

Shipping can take up to 45 days due to lengthy customs procedures.

Israel, Italy, Malta, Spain and Reunion

Shipping can take up 4-6 weeks due to lengthy customs procedures.

Customs

All fees, taxes, VAT, or other import duties/penalties are the full responsibility of the buyer. GemSelect has no control over the customs policies of your country. Packages refused for these reasons are subject to a 10% restocking fee. In addition, return freight fees, brokerage charges and customs duties will be deducted from the total refunded amount.

Save on Taxes with Economy Shipping:

In general, for most countries, shipments sent by economy mail do not incur tax or duty. This is because most regular airmail is not checked by customs. However, for express courier shipments, import taxes are often collected upon delivery at a local VAT/GST rate. For some countries, an import duty rate may apply in addition to administrative fees.

Australia

Tax-free and duty-free for orders up to $1000 AUD in value.

Canada

All shipments are subject to local GST/VAT regardless of the shipping method. Therefore, we recommend express shipping for all Canadian orders. Please contact us if you require a customized invoice.

Europe

Most EU countries impose local VAT on orders that are valued under 150 Euros. Orders valued over 150 Euros are subject to customs duty and VAT. Orders with a value of less than 22 Euros are tax-free and duty-free. Orders sent by economy shipping are not usually subject to tax or duty.

Hong Kong

Tax-free and duty-free.

New Zealand

Tax-free and duty-free for orders up to $400 NZD in value.

Singapore

Tax-free and duty-free for orders up to $400 SGP in value.

UAE

Tax-free and duty-free for orders up to $250 US in value.

Registered mail delivered by Royal Mail is not usually subject to customs tax. Express shipping is subject to VAT plus an administration fee charged by the courier. UK taxes and administration fees are the responsibility of the importer.

We recommend economy shipping to the following countries due to strict customs procedures: Belgium, Brazil, China, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, India, Indonesia, Israel, Russia and Turkey.

Invoices

All packages from GemSelect include a complete invoice. Please contact us before placing your order if you do not need an invoice. You can also use the 'special request' field to let us know while checking out. Alternatively, you can email us at help@gemselect.com immediately after placing the order.
