Rhodonite Rhodonite is one of several gemstones that draw their name from the Greek word for rose (rhodon), the others are rhodolite garnet and rhodochrosite. Rhodonite, however, is rarely entirely red; it is usually rose pink to red with black dendritic inclusions of manganese oxide. Rhodonite's attractive color and vitreous to pearly luster has made it popular as a decorative material. It is often used as cabochons for necklaces, and for ornamental objects.

Easy to see the gemstones you are buying, easy to see prices and shipping.
I love GemSelect, personally. I browse their site almost daily to see all the new stones available. Their selection is pretty amazing. The quality isn't always the highest and the cut of the stones isn't always perfect. But for the price, and if you look hard enough, you can find a real gem, so to speak.
I would recommend to a friend because of the quality of the products purchased. The gemstone quality is very high and the gems purchased are beautiful. Any friends interested in having custom jewelry made would definitely be recommended to the site. Also, every shipment is handled with care and I am very pleased with that.
