White Coral Gems
Precious coral grows in rocky seabottoms, typically in dark environments in the depths or in dark caverns. Coral gemstones are composed of hard calcium carbonate, colored by carotenoid pigments. Coral exhibits a range of colors, from warm reddish pink colors to salmon pink, and even deep red to black; White coral is often with slight pinkish hue and some white coral can be the result of color enhancements. Coral belongs to the small and unique group of organic gems, which also includes pearl, mother-of-pearl, amber, petrified wood, ivory and jet.

Happy about the experience of the store, a lot of stone urge very nice
when I need a colored stone I check gem select. a trusted supplier for at least 10 years for me. many of the online sites have gone black but gemselect continues to satisfy me. oh sure there are many windowed and poorly cut stones here so paying some attention is critical. remember these are not custom cut stones but rather cut by old methods and the aim is to keep weight up at the expense of optical perfection. remember that colored stones are about color as the first consideration. I just wish gemselect offered rough for those who want to cut it.
