found what looks to be an incredible boulder opal on gemselect.com. Also got a bit carried away and bought more gems than anticipated. It's expensive to pay for these stones in this way, but the convenience makes it worthwhile.
I really enjoy how you can sort the types of gemstones by cut, color, and size. The website is laid out very well. To be able to sort through the gemstones on the rolling slide to the left of the page is a useful tool.
Lots of pictures provide you with a detailed description of the items you're purchasing. I'm not knowledgeable on gems but just needed to satiate my curiosity. GemSelect made it quite easy.
