This is a natural oval facet deep purple-blue Sapphire in the exact size of 10.24 x 7.13 x 4.08 mm. The gemstone was mined in Sri Lanka and has a finished weight of 2.69ct. This Sapphire comes in VS clarity. "VS" stands for "Very Slightly Included" and is considered eye-clean. This gemstone has been heated with the addition of beryllium in order to enhance its color. I would like to see more specifics on sources besides country- at least region or state and in the US with Turquiose which mine. Thanks!
