Gemstones for the Days of the Week
In our nearly 20 year experience in selling gemstones we have discovered that our customers like to feel a connection to the stone that is deeper than just material or that it looks pretty. The gems traders who sell to us say the same thing after a lifetime of dealing in gemstones.
This is why the birthstones have proved to be so popular. We love the idea of a gemstone that is personally linked to us somehow. It makes buying a gift for a loved one quite easy and receiving a birthstone as a gift shows some thought has gone into the purchase.

But what if you are not so keen on your specified birthstone? Perhaps you were born in May for example but do not like the color green. That counts out the main May birthstone, Emerald, and the alternatives are not your favorites either - what can you do?
To accompany the monthly birthstones we have researched gemstones with historical links to each day of the week and come up with a couple of alternatives for everyday. I love the clear description of the certification options. It's very rare to see a gem site that offers a deep explanation of each institution that would certify the stone(s).

This is probably the fourth time I havebought gems at Gem Select, I have never been disappointed. I design a ring for myself, it is easier to buy the gems I want and take them to a jeweler. I am sure I will order gems again.
