Tarot Cards and Gemstones
Tarot began as a parlor game in 16th Century Europe but slowly developed into an aid for divination and a way of connecting people to their purpose in life. Tarot cards are not really about predicting the future but about tapping into your own intuition and acting as guidelines for any decisions you may need to make.
The world of Tarot and the world of crystals are very much interconnected.
Tarot packs contain 22 Major Arcana cards which are used to determine life pathways and reflect personality traits. These include such classic images as The Fool, The Lovers and Death and each one can be linked to at least one gemstone.
In addition, gemstones can enhance a tarot session by being placed on the table when giving or receiving a reading. Crystals which stimulate higher levels of spiritual communication, motivate intuition and encourage relaxation include:
- Lapis Lazuli - helps to relate to higher planes of consciousness
- Amazonite - creates a very relaxed atmosphere
- Blue Agate - boosts communication process
When you are not using your Tarot cards, store them with a gemstone or two to cleanse, recharge and protect them from negative energies. Two great gemstones for this are:
- Black Tourmaline - absorbs and dispels negative forces
- Clear Quartz - a versatile crystal that will protect and recharge your Tarot cards

I have actually done business with them before and was quite satisfied with them then.My Mother collected turtle items and when I saw the Mother of Pearl turtle...I just thought of her and decided to buy it. It's even tinier than I thought, but so adorable!The gemstones I bought are for jewelry for my daughter's birthday.
