Gemstones for Sagittarius

If you lived in the UK in the 80s and 90s, it seemed as if astrologers were everywhere. Mystic Meg and Russell Grant had daily columns in the newspapers and were on TV all the time. The first page to read in the paper was your horoscope.

Astrology has come a long way since early man looked into the nights skies and noticed the regular movements of the stars and planets and how they coincided with seasonal changes and the arrivals of rains and floods.

In order to remember the positions of constellations and their influences, stories and myths grew up around the heavenly bodies and many animals were used to highlight groups of stars - zodiac comes from the Greek phrase 'circle of animals'.

Gods, goddesses, colors, spheres of influence, personalities and crystals were associated with each constellation and we have researched two gemstones for each star sign. For Sagittarius we have come up with Topaz and Citrine.
