This is a pair of natural oval cabochon Opal Doublets in the exact size of 16.1 x 9.54 x 2.5mm. The gemstone was mined in Australia and has a finished weight of 6.73ct. The clarity of these gemstones is Opaque. These oval Opal Doublet have been assembled; it means it is made of multiple layers. After working with and polishing low-grade, rough fire-agate, only to be disappointed, this shop was nirvana. The costs of some gems might seem high, but I have easily spent the same amount rough polishing lousy material only to get a few hints of fire. If you want Fire-agates, BUY the agates you want. These are excellent specimens and are worth considering.
