Do I need to register an account to buy gems online from GemSelect?
No registration or customer account is required to buy gems online from our website. We welcome and service all private buyers, jewelry retailers, wholesalers and resellers!
After placing an order with us, we automatically open an account for you, so that you can view your order history, download company PDF gem reports, view your order history and even track your shipments with the shipping codes we provide you.
GemSelect provides the simplest checkout system available. Once you've chosen your gems, checking out with GemSelect is complete with the following 3 steps:
* Review your shopping cart & choose your shipping method (Express Mail or Economy Airmail)
That's it! You will be redirected back to our website where you can view a printable page confirming your order details. In addition, the confirmation page will also provide you with your new customer account log-in credentials.
Note: You do not need to use the account -- it is completely optional, as you can place new orders with us logging in to your account.
However, we do encourage our regular customers to use their customer accounts so that we can serve you better. It is also a great way to view your order history and email communications with us. You can obtain tracking codes, download PDF gem reports for items purchased and even update your newsletter preferences form within our accounts feature.
