Uniquely amongst gemstone suppliers, GemSelect is able to offer our customers the ability to buy wholesale gemstones by piece. That means you can choose one, two or more items from our wide selection of gemstone lots - with no additional charges or premiums. In fact, you get the same value as you would if you were buying full lots!

Loose gemstones are sold in singles, pairs and lots. The first two are simple enough terms but the third is less well known.

Single - An individual gemstone item available in many gemstone types, colors shapes and sizes.
Pair - Two gemstones of the same type usually matching in size, shape and color.
Lots - a package of three or more calibrated gemstones of an identical size, shape and color for use in any multi-stone jewelry designs.

These gemstone lots are usually sold in quantities that range from 3 or 4 gemstones all the way to hundreds of matching stones and tend to be for the wholesale jewelry market.

Our loose gemstones by piece are all-natural and hand selected for the finest quality.

What gemstone shapes are available by piece?

We have just about every possible gemstone shape available in stock in a whole range of colors and gem types:

Baguette Gemstones, Heart Gemstones, Marquise Gemstones, Oval Gemstones, Pear Gemstones, Round Gemstones, Square Gemstones, and Trillion Cut Gemstones are amongst the most popular.

We also stock both faceted Gemstones, and cabochon cut calibrated Gemstones perfect for use in jewelry.

What gemstone sizes are available by piece?

Gemstone lots tend to come in small sizes ideal for side stones, accent stones or for use in multi-stone jewelry items. We have gemstones that are just over a millimeter across and weigh 0.01 carats for the most delicate of jewelry designs. Even the tiniest of gemstones are available by piece.

We also stock much larger gemstones by piece up to 20 mm across and with carat weights above 10 carats for those that need more substantial gemstones as well as a selection of drilled gemstones.

What jewelry are gemstones by piece suitable for?

Our selection of gemstones by piece can be used for just about any type of jewelry item. The smaller stones are primarily for side stones, accent stone and pavé stones on ring designs but can be used for necklaces, bracelets, earrings, multi-stone pendants and brooches.

Can we use gemstones by piece for the Chakras?

Chakras are energy centers located in different parts of the body which can affect us both emotionally and physically. Each Chakra has an individual color and a gemstone of that color can help realign or unblock a troubled Chakra.
