I was looking for a gemstone to use in a necklace I plan to make for my mother in my metalsmithing class at college. She likes green, so I sorted by green gemstones in my price range of the cut and size I wanted, which made it very easy to see all of my options. After compiling a list of gems I was considering in my cart, I narrowed down my choice to the one I wanted with my brother and placed my order. Entering payment and shipping details was pretty standard.

If you want a gem that you can trust to not be treated, or if it is it’s disclosed this is the place! There’s something for everybody. I really like knowing that the picture of the item is the one I’m buying, not a sample or stock photo. If you make jewelry, buy gems here! You can even buy a gem and have it set by a jeweler. Again, they have an amazing inventory, and prices are more than fair. You won’t be disappointed! I just wish they sold uncut gems. Sometimes I just want a specimen in the crystal form. I’m surprised they had no quartz from Arkansas, but they have a great selection of anything I’ve ever looked for.

I do wish for higher res pics but I get it. The gems I bought are cheap that may have been the reason for the relatively low res pics.

The selection of gemstones is absolutely amazing! The pictures allow you to get important angles of each individual stone and, from what I see, there aren't any just standard photos used unless there are duplicates of very small stones- which is completely understandable. They tend to describe their reasoning too.

I have ordered from Gem Select before. I was trying to order again but did not find a good selection of rubelitte. I ended up ordering from another company. I told a lot of my clients about your wide selection of amethyst. They could not believe it. These clients have been with me forever. The stones I am buying are for them. They will NEVER believe I went out and bought them stones like this. It would not be possible without you. StarLanka did not have a good selection of amethyst. I guess different companies carry different things.
