Gemas corte step
Step cut gemstone feature trapezoid shaped or rectangular facets in concentric rows, but there are many modified variations of this faceting style available today. In fact, there are many different ways to describe gemstone shapes and cuts, and there is almost always more than one "correct" way to describe a specific gemstone shape and cut-style.
A single gemstone may be described as being 'round-faceted', 'round brilliant-cut', 'round diamond-cut', or even just simply 'round cut'; although some of these terms are more descriptive than others, none would be considered incorrect when used to describe the said gem.
In the colored gem industry, descriptive terms are used loosely because there is no universally recognized official terminology when it comes to all of the fancy cuts and modified cuts available today. In the past, "trilliant-cut" could only be used to describe "brilliant-cut" triangular gemstones (hence the name "tri"-"lliant"), but now the term is accepted by most when used to describe any triangular gemstone including step cuts, cabochons and plain cuts.

I always check this site because they have unique options.
I ordered this really nice pair of Rubies from Gemselect and I love them because of all the detailed information you get. Also if you scroll down you can see other similar items single, in pairs, lots, bigger, smaller, etc and it's such an easy website to use.
I wasn't sure where to go to find a variety of gemstones to choose from in the size and shape that I was looking for. I'm really glad I found this website because the search options and filters made it really easy to find what I was looking for. The prices seem quite reasonable. This will be the first place I go the next time I'm looking for a gemstone!
