There is one gemstone that is on the modern birthstone list that connects with February, and it's Amethyst. As you can see Amethyst appears as the third gemstone in the second row. While the order of the gemstones has changed, there are many of these gemstones that are still in our modern birthstone list. There are also some gemstones that have different names in this list which have now been translated to represent the current names used today.
