I found what I was looking for...had to look up millimeters to inches. It would be nice to see something, like a quarter, in the pix to show relative size. I plan on buy loose gemstones for every month in the calendar

Gemstone jewelry has been worn for thousands of years for several reasons; to display wealth, show status or for its beauty. Furthermore, special beliefs have long been associated with gemstones. For example, jyotish gems are gems that relate to Vedic astrology. In addition, many gems are referred to in the Holy Bible and there are many gemstones which have held traditional significance in Islam.

In Judeo-Christian tradition, the Bible refers to twelve stones which were set in the breastplate of Aaron, the high priest; each of the stones symbolized the twelve tribes of Israel. In Hinduism, there are nine gemstones which correspond with seven planets and two lunar nodes in Vedic astrology, which is also known as Jyotish or Hindu astrology. First time using this website. It was both exciting finding things in my price range and things Iam gonna save up for and use in other pieces. I love that the picture of the gem is the exact gem I'll be buying. I haven't tested the gems yes but they said they sold me 100% natural gems.

I found what I was looking for...had to look up millimeters to inches. It would be nice to see something, like a quarter, in the pix to show relative size. I plan on buy loose gemstones for every month in the calendar
