Browse our Mexican gems, including both cabochons and faceted stones. One of the best known Mexican gems is fire opal, which is known for its bright body color rather than play of color. Fire opal is often a vivid yellow, orange or red color and is translucent to transparent, so it is often faceted. Fire opal is ideal for brooches, pendants and earrings. Mexico is also an important source of fire agate, which is one of the most valuable agate varieties. Additionally, some unique jasper gems, beautiful and brilliant sphalerite and other gems such as chrysocolla, tiger's eye matrix, obsidian, danburite and lilac-colored lepidolite are found in Mexico. These can be used for any jewelry application. From this page, it is possible to filter further by gem type, color, shape, size, clarity and more, to find the perfect Mexican gemstone for you.

man their gems are pretty good, and the prices aren't to bad either, I like checking out hte gems on there website, beceause the pictures of the gems are taken pretty well, and you can see the table, and the facets.
I love gemselect and I have bought a fair amount from them. The only complaint I have is not being able to save gems. I have a lot of projects so i am in the market for a lot of different gems and it's so disappointing to have to delete them all just to purchase one or two that I have saved in my cart.
