FAQs

What are loose sapphire pairs?

Loose sapphire pairs are two matching gemstones sold together, carefully selected for their similar size, shape, and color. These pairs are ideal for jewelry like earrings or designs requiring symmetry.

How do I choose the right sapphire pair for my jewelry?

When selecting a sapphire pair, consider factors like size, color, and cut. Options like natural sapphire pairs, calibrated sapphire pairs, or certified sapphire pairs are great choices for ensuring quality and precision.

What types of sapphire pairs are available?

Our collection includes various types, such as blue sapphire pairs, fancy sapphire pairs, and loose sapphire sets. These gemstones cater to different styles and designs, offering versatility for your jewelry needs.

Are matching gemstone pairs only used for earrings?

No, matching gemstone pairs are versatile and can be used in other jewelry pieces, such as rings, pendants, or bracelets. However, sapphire pairs for earrings are particularly popular due to their balanced and symmetrical appearance.

What makes calibrated sapphire pairs unique?

Calibrated sapphire pairs are precision-cut gemstones designed to fit standard jewelry settings. These pairs save time during the crafting process and ensure a perfect fit for your design.

Are natural sapphire pairs better than synthetic ones?

Natural sapphire pairs are prized for their authenticity and unique characteristics. While synthetic options may offer consistency, precious gemstone pairs made of natural sapphires are often more valuable and sought after.

Can I find loose sapphire sets with different colors?

Yes, while blue sapphire pairs are the most popular, we also offer fancy sapphire pairs in various hues to suit diverse design preferences.

How are certified sapphire pairs verified?

Certified sapphire pairs come with documentation verifying their authenticity, origin, and quality. This ensures you are purchasing genuine loose sapphires with a reliable grading.

What is the best way to use a sapphire loose pair in jewelry?

A sapphire loose pair can be used in multiple ways, such as creating a pair of earrings, designing a matching ring set, or combining them with other gemstones for a unique custom piece.

Are loose sapphire pairs suitable for beginners in jewelry design?

Yes, loose sapphire pairs are an excellent choice for beginners, especially calibrated sapphire pairs. Their ready-to-use precision and versatility make them ideal for creating professional-looking jewelry pieces.

GemSelect Certified Store Reviews

GemSelect: Over 22 Years in the Gemstone Business! Thank you for trusting us with your purchase!

Overall Rating -> 10 star ratings

I've made several purchases through GemSelect in the past, although not within the last six months. Their gems are always beautiful and I have never had an issue with their prices or their stones. Even when I'm not buying, I love scrolling through their website, which is very user friendly. I especially appreciate being able to change the listing order to your own liking, such as most to least expensive, largest to smallest, etc. As with most online orders, however, I think the shipping charges are not commensurate with the actual weight of the items shipped.

I found what I was looking for...had to look up millimeters to inches. It would be nice to see something, like a quarter, in the pix to show relative size. I plan on buy loose gemstones for every month in the calendar
