This is a natural pear facet medium-orange Sapphire in the exact size of 5 x 4.31 x 2.59 mm. This gemstone is from Tanzania and has a finished weight of 0.49ct. The clarity of this Sapphire is VVS, which stands for "Very, Very Slightly Included" seen under 10 x magnification. This Sapphire has been heated with the addition of beryllium in order to improve its color. This is a safe gemstone treatment. I had a great time searching all the lovely stones. This is my first precious loose stone purchase for my own work. I chose sapphire, and found some lovely briolettes. I wanted 3, but this set of 4 was perfect. Everything was quick and easy, and I'm excited.

I placed order#384714 based on the picture on your website and the stone came in much darker. I'm sure it's the same stone i ordered but your lighting made it seem a lighter blue. I was trying to match a stone for a customer and based on the picture it would have been close enough but the stone in person is a mile off.

I love your selection of gems. My only complaing is I wish I could put in a page number to return to that page.When there are over 60 pages of gems it is hard to return to a page with a gem I am considering.
