This is a natural deep violet-blue Sapphire in the exact size of 12.22 x 8.99 x 5.67 mm, its shape is oval facet. The gemstone was mined in Sri Lanka and has a finished weight of 5.54ct. The clarity of this deep violet-blue Sapphire is graded as VVS-VS, it is a little better than Eye-clean. This gemstone has been heated with the addition of beryllium in order to enhance its color.
