This is a natural pinkish-red Ruby in the exact size of 6.9 x 5.12 x 3.58 mm, its shape is oval facet. The gemstone weight is 1.17ct and it was mined in Madagascar. This Ruby comes in VS clarity. "VS" stands for "Very Slightly Included" and is considered eye-clean. The gemstone has been fracture filled; this is usually done with glass, oil or lacquer. It is a safe and accepted treatment. was just windowshopping and spotted a couple "Very Uncommons", a tsavorite & a demantoid garnet that were both in a size I was looking for, & that I could very easily pay for -- so figured I would grab the tsavo ASAP and got the demantoid to accompany so they wouldn't be lonely.

I really enjoy browsing through GemSelect. The selection is always marvelous and I love how detailed everything is described. The only thing I noticed is that when browsing through my phone, the videos of the gems do not load. If there were more videos of the gems, that would be amazing, though I understand that is a lot of work on GemSelect's part! Checking out is also very fast and easy, and I love that the return policy is very good, though I hope I don't have to use it anytime soon.
