This is a natural oval facet deep reddish-pink Ruby in the exact size of 7.04 x 5.11 x 3.85 mm. The gemstone was mined in Madagascar and has a finished weight of 1.29ct. The clarity of this Ruby is "VS" which stands for "Very Slightly Included" and is definitely eye-clean. The gemstone has been fracture filled; this is usually done with glass, oil or lacquer. The website is user friendly, has excellent selection. I've always found what I was looking for with Gem Select. When others don't have it they do. And most important, they have a way for you to pay without using PayPal. I cannot use PayPal they closed my account because of no cell phone.

So many gorgeous stones! The only "complaint" I have is it's difficult to visualize sizes in mm. Perhaps some way to compare in inches?It has been a long time since I bought stones from Gem select, but the process wasn't too difficult.

I have used this site for sseveral years now. All has been great. I started collection gems from GemSelect for years and wanted to collect at least one of most stones. I loved Safers because the mols is a 9 + and they come in every color. This is the best place to buy gems for the assortment and price. Great place to learn about gems too. Sometimes the shipping is a little on the long side. But I would give them a 9.9 out of 10 !!
