This is a pair of natural oval facet red Pyrope Garnets in the exact size of 7.1 x 5.07 x 4.22 mm. These gemstones were mined in Mozambique and have a finished total weight of 2.52ct. The clarity of these deep scarlet-red Pyrope Garnets is graded as VVS-VS, it is a little better than eye-clean. These gemstones are untreated; no treatment at all has been applied. I ordered peridots online and they were very close to the shade in the photo. They had a good polish and pretty good lapidation for a commercial cut. They had the correct critical angles for the ri of the material so that the stones had life in them. The down side was the lack of tracking and the length of time that it had taken to get them.
