12.74 x 9.88 x 5.82 mm natural deep-orange Hessonite Garnet in oval facet shape. The gemstone was mined in Madagascar and has a finished weight of 5.57ct. This gemstone's clarity grade is VS-SI. The clarity is in-between "Very Slightly Included" and "Slightly Included". This orange Hessonite Garnet is completely untreated; no treatment at all has been applied. After working with and polishing low-grade, rough fire-agate, only to be disappointed, this shop was nirvana. The costs of some gems might seem high, but I have easily spent the same amount rough polishing lousy material only to get a few hints of fire. If you want Fire-agates, BUY the agates you want. These are excellent specimens and are worth considering.

The product was held up in Anchorage Alaska due to customs. It was also delayed in the U.S. by bad weather. Final delivery was not until the 29th of December.
