It is a beautiful garnet with a dark orange color. the cut is a cushion cut and all info on the size is included for reference as to the size of the mount.
I don't know the sizes very well at all but was expecting something larger. When I actually studied the size it was on point. I have already recommended gem select. The stone is beautiful.
