I have actually done business with them before and was quite satisfied with them then.My Mother collected turtle items and when I saw the Mother of Pearl turtle...I just thought of her and decided to buy it. I had a great time searching all the lovely stones. This is my first precious loose stone purchase for my own work. I chose sapphire, and found some lovely briolettes. I wanted 3, but this set of 4 was perfect. Everything was quick and easy, and I'm excited.

So many gorgeous stones! The only "complaint" I have is it's difficult to visualize sizes in mm. Perhaps some way to compare in inches?It has been a long time since I bought stones from Gem select, but the process wasn't too difficult.

I really enjoy browsing through GemSelect. The selection is always marvelous and I love how detailed everything is described. The only thing I noticed is that when browsing through my phone, the videos of the gems do not load. If there were more videos of the gems, that would be amazing, though I understand that is a lot of work on GemSelect's part! Checking out is also very fast and easy, and I love that the return policy is very good, though I hope I don't have to use it anytime soon.

Gemselect is a good website with a great selection of loose gems for sale. The prices are fairly decent, with the only negative being the cut quality of the gems. This is my go to retailer for gemstones and will continue to be, given that the packages arrive in a timely manner.

The website is well organized and works fast forward and back. Plenty of filters. Each gem is described in detail and you receive the one pictured. Gem material info and sources available. I would like to see more specifics on sources besides country- at least region or state and in the US with Turquiose which mine. Thanks!
