Everything was good about this order except I was a little disappointed in the product because it was so small. This is the first time that I have ever bought a gem so I was very unfamiliar with the sizes mainly because measurements were in metric.

Website is pretty easy to use. Some items do not have enough information like origin of the item or if they are natural or lab created. Not enough pictures/some pictures of products are not clear. This might possibly just be a mobile phone user problem however.

I was looking for Star Sapphires, not blue sapphires. In the past, I boughtBlack Star, I love it! Today, I ordered aPurple Star. I gave rings made with the gems.

I like to use GemSelect for finding calibrated sizes of gemstones. I purchased sapphires a few years ago and found the quality to be outstanding so I went ahead and purchased some more today (different) and some really unique moonstone. I'm opening a jewelry busy soon and so accurate gemstone sizes, quality, and reliability as a supplier is really important to me. Gemselect seems to fill all those requirements.

This site is *amazing*! The vast selection is almost enough to make you giggle. Oh, wait…If you want it, it’s probably here. I’ve read some reviews saying it’s hard to use the search filters but I found the opposite to be true. In fact, it’s plain fun to throw different filters on and see what you come up with. I ordered a small stone to sort of try them out and, dang! I’m so thoroughly impressed that I think I found a new hobby. The stone I got was exact what was represented on the site. So much so that I had to really look to see the difference between the picture and the stone that I got. And the range of prices. Wow! From a few dollars to tens of thousands if you’re into like, Ruby’s, Emerald’s, Sapphire’s and other gems that make you drool. And the cuts! The shapes and cuts are just plain gorgeous!Honestly, I can’t possibly say just how happy I am with this purchase! Now… off to make another…
