About Malaya Garnet
Malaya garnet or Malaia garnet is a mixture of pyrope and spessartite garnet.
Malaya Garnet comes in a variety of colors which ranges from light to dark pinkish orange, reddish orange, or yellowish orange.
Malaya Garnet is found in east Africa, in the Umba Valley of Tanzania and Kenya.
It was at first believed to be a type of spessartite garnet and sometimes rhodolite garnet. Later it was given its own name since it was disctinct from the other types.

You've always been great at having a nice selection. However I notice now prices have gone up on many of the items I purchawed in the past, especially the Tsavorite in 3mm, 3.5 mm & 5mm sizes Well cut gemstons. Better than expected in both color and cut.
