Nueve gemas del Navaratna The nine sacred gemstones of Navaratna correspond with planetary activity and are believed to possess special abilities that can benefit its wearers. "Navaratna" is a Sanskrit word meaning "nine gems". It is believed that the nine gems are diamond, pearl, red coral (carnelian may be substituted), hessonite garnet, blue sapphire, cat's eye (chrysoberyl), yellow fancy sapphire, emerald and ruby (red spinel may be substituted).
The origin of Navaratna is not entirely clear, but the nine sacred nine gems are considered to be especially auspicious by many countries and religions, including Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists and Jains. Followers and believers may also vary when it comes to in interpretation and even substitution of the navaratna gems. For example, ruby may be replaced by red spinel and red coral may be replaced by carnelian. Blue sapphire, diamond and emerald may even be substituted due to the high costs of fine precious stones, like diamond, sapphire and emerald.

First, I wanted to say that you guys have a great selection gems, in all price ranges! Awesome site!! My son found a 6 piece set of blue topaz hearts that he wanted to get. I wanted to view all of the 6 piece sets or 10 piece sets. I recommend adding that ability to your filter.
