This is a natural medium-dark purple Sapphire in the exact size of 6.02 x 5.12 x 3.1 mm, its shape is oval facet. The gemstone was mined in Madagascar and has a finished weight of 0.8ct. This Sapphire comes in VS clarity. "VS" stands for "Very Slightly Included" and is considered eye-clean. This Sapphire has been heated to improve its color and clarity. I really enjoy browsing through GemSelect. The selection is always marvelous and I love how detailed everything is described.
