Kornerupine, sometimes referred to as prismatine, is a rare gemstone first discovered in Greenland named after the Danish explorer Andreas Nikolaus Kornerup. Kornerupine occurs in variety of colors, including white, pink, yellow, brown, green and blue. Kornerupine typically exhibits strong pleochroism, usually from yellowish green to reddish brown. Kornerupine has a hardness of 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale and is hard enough for jewelry, but owing to its rarity, it is mainly a collector's stone.

I decided recently to start a gemstone collection! I searched online for a reputable gem merchant and found gem select! Their selection is gorgeous and I’m excited to receive my first package! Checkout was a breeze!
My experience with GemSelect has been non-laboring and satisfying. The gem was perfectly and safely packaged. I look forward to doing more transactions in the future!
Its my first time ordering, I've known about the site a long time and have been waiting to be in the market for gems. I'm finally taking the jump into becoming a jewler and I hope the gem stones are of quality
