- SI = Slightly included - Small inclusions can be seen with the naked eye

- Transparent = A gemstone having the property of transmitting light without serious diffusion / may have rutile or other inclusions

About Almandine Garnet
The
garnets comprise a family of complex silicates with widely varying chemical composition but similar structures. The most common garnet is Almandine (or Almandite), which is dark brownish or purplish red. Garnet is very popular for its excellent
hardness (7-7.5) and its brilliance due to its high
refractive index.
